interesting prospect, good movement, great power. he uses movement and offense as defense right now...not his arms, jab and angles...so he needs to develop. I'm not disapointed by his opponnents because he isn't ready to step up. but when he does, could make some noise with the proper training/
In what little I've seen of him, he seems solid but not spectacular. I can see him becoming a pretty solid contender if he continues to improve.
I have no faith in him in todays heavyweight scene. He does not have a enough power or speed to be a small heavyweight today. I think even Tyson would have problems at this stage, because of his lack of size. He would still be championship material, but he would not be as superior as he was. Not many really big heavyweights in Tysons era, where really fast and could box. Today we have many of them. Price, Wilder, Fury, Klitchkos, Pulev etc etc. You need to exceptional today to be a small heavyweight, and I just don't see that in Boytsov. First proper test from any of those mentioned and he will loos. My 2 cents anyway.
Good prospect with a solid skill set. His handlers need to move him along slowly and stop trying to rush him into competitive fights. Seems like a lot people are looking to ruin this kid. Have some patience, he will be ready for a step up in 4 years or so.
he stands straight up/ no head movement/ hand speed isnt great.... but is a power puncher for sure...I SENT STEVE LOTT SUM DVDS ON BOYTSOV HE WASNT IMPRESSED AT ALL= HE SAID IT WOULD TAKE KEVIN ROONEY 5 YRS TO REALLY HELP THAT KID......
great talent, but has not been active enough to make a move. he needs consistency in order to improve enough to challenge better fighters.
