Very good fighter with devastating power but I don't think he's the concussive unbeatable beast some people believe he is, he is quite hittable and think he's beatable if he fights someone good technically and defensively with a good chin, especially if he moves up in weight where he might loose some power.

And tell me what is the walking around weight of Kovalev or Ward dude ?
To tear down GGG you have to make him fight guys in a heavier weight division...Ok ,so why doesn't Mayweather fight GGG ?

I like GGG so don't take this wrong. Just an observation. Did anyone else feel he was bothered by the body blows from his last opponent. To me he was. Head shots no. Body shots yes.

Agreed, but the state of the caliber of middleweights today
may preclude GGG from proving his alltime caliber...
But in my mind's eye, I make him an even shot against any MW I have seen ...Any man who can hit as violently as GGG, can cut off the ring, can box smartly, and as his record shows in over 330 amateur and pro bouts, Golovkin has never been FLOORED,
makes him a match for any MW since Harry Greb in my estimation...Folks, smell the roses...

I never jump the gun. He looks great but let's see him challenged.

the guy is going to fight another 20-25 times before he retires , at some point he will get at least some of the fights everyone is screaming for and then he will get to silence the larger part of this forum that hate on him so much , i am really looking forward to that time .

GGG is a terrific fighter but I did not like the way he stopped boxing and took some unnecessary punches...Monroe even rallied and landed some decent shots and against a harder puncher this he should not do.

GGG is trying to fight Cotto and the other Champs but they dont want him. He is 33 yrs old. Floyd and him would be a super fight and Floyd may make it difficult and its natural but I dont think it would be a wise fight for Floyd right now.

GGG needs to clean up the middleweights and a fight vs Canelo would be big and test both men but I dont expect Canelo to jump up so quick. If they both go at each other it will be a war. GGG has some very good boxing skills but gets a little lazy mid-fight and looks bored. He should box a little if the opponent is not ripe and get into that practice. I know he fights Mexican STYLE but he should also box a bit to change up.

Bummy, If GGG takes some unnecessary punches, whether from being "bored" or feel that the guy in front of him holds no "danger" to him
doesn't mean that GGG is devoid of survival instincts. who will know who can hurt him and he will adjust to whatever his opponent poses to him...GGG is an experienced and wily old cuss...

GGG is great. He toys with his opponents, constantly trying new things and letting them work as he practices and baits them. He never blitzes anyone, always using a measured approach replete with tatical precision. The things he does is beyond most fans comprehension.

"Yeah, but. But.. BUT... When's he gonna fight someone who has no intention of fighting him"?

Here's what modern boxing fighters, Hall of fame fighters and trainers say:

James Toney "ggg is the best MW since me"

Bhop "GGG is much much much more if a destroyer than Tito, and Tito is one of the best of my era, but gggs positioning and body balance makes him more dangerous"

Gary Shaw "ggg is the best mW I've ever seen"

Mick Hennessey "ggg has the potential to go down as the best mW who ever lived"

Lamont Peterson " his skills impress me more than his power, I don't see anyone around his weight beating him"...

Andre Ward " ggg is not a one trick poney, he has great footwork and balance...he hits harder than Chavez senior and has a better defense too"

Jarod Fletcher " ggg is like Kostya Tszyu with better footwork"

Derrick Findlay " ggg shows me things in the ring I've never seen before, I've fought ward and I think ggg will beat him"

Ronnie Shields " ggg is a special fighter...he's not only one of the most powerful fighters but also one of the most intelligent"

Sugar Ray Leonard "ggg is special...he has that rare confidence that comes with greatness"

Julian Jackson "Golovkin has the best balance I've ever seen in an athlete"

Freddie roach " GGG has the best footwork in boxing"
