For all these people that say Golovkin only fights "cans".
Do you really believe Murray is a " can"? Guy arguably beat both Martinez and Sturm.

So the win over him is a good win however you slice it.

Other guys like Macklin, Geale, and Stevens are solid wins which at the very least add some depth to his resume.

"Cans" are the guys Mike Tyson fought after returning from prison.

He has fought decent opposition, no higher than B- level but we all know that isn't his fault. The Ward thing, it's more complex for both of them than 'they're scared to move up/down', imo if he'd have fought Chavez and Froch there, he should face Ward there but risk vs reward comes into it, we all know Ward gives less money and more risk than the previous two. He can still seek Canelo and Cotto and perceives them also as higher reward, less risk. Which is no crime... he can't keep claiming he's being avoided if Ward wants it though, they'll have to compromise somehow if he keeps crying he can't get an elite fighter... no worries though as Canelo or Cotto is after Lemeiux.

Guys like Floyd and PAC and Cotto built their HOF credentials by way of excellent promoters and starting at the lowest possible weight classes they could boil down to.

Guys like Lomachenko, Rigo, and GGG had stellar amateur careers and built IBHOF credentials before they had their first fights.

Also, you all can't say that one fighter is a HOFer bc he beat this titlist or that than use a double standard to grade another elite fighters resume.

FACT: GGG has beat the best willing opponents at MW without help from judges, referees, or crowd influence.

He's fought and beat every willing top contender when they could make it happen.

The same can't be said for the GGG hate brigades heroes.

    PERIOD

All the weirdos and quizlings that trip over themselves, parroting the same invented issues they have with GGG would be his biggest fans if the only change in him was his country of birth and AB mixture.

    I agree

And many many boxing experts agree

He suffers from being too good in an era where its all too easy to cherrypick and avoid facing the best

Calzaghe suffered from it too. Hopkins pulled out of a super fight, Jones wanted nothing to do with the Great Brits from that time

Golovkin is an ATG trying his ass off to get recognized in our era.... yet the Tyson casuals dont have a scooby :-(
