I always really liked kendall holt. His power always impressed me, he has his shortcomings but a fighter doesnt have to win every fight for me to be a fan. A lot of people like to point to loses when criticizing a fighter but the illusion of invulnerability they cherish is an immature concept common among teenagers and should be ignored by mature adults anchored in reality.
One of the best cases of: KO% = pillowfists but if you watch him = TNT. Skilled and exciting fighter.
Holt was fun to watch. I never thought he'd make the level of elite, but was still a big fan. His bout w/ TB was a good one! Thought he might have pulled it off for a sec when he almost took TB's head off!
Oh wow, he finished with just 47%? That's bananas. Good thing most of his bouts were televised and we live in the video era; imagine having to explain to future generations "no trust me, Holt was a massive banger!!" and having them be like "okay boomer.. "
1000 bonus points to anybody that can decipher the reason for my very deliberate and on-the-nose (but esoteric) selection of emoji to punctuate that last post. ^
Still remember his first round shootout in the rematch with Ricardo Torres. Still don’t know if that was a legit KO or a headbutt.
