I have no opinion on who will win, but it will be a great fight.

SHouoldn't be happening this quickly. Cotto needs more time to recover his courage and learn from his lose. That and he should just never fight MArgo again if he knows whats good for his health.

Cotto could out box Margarito easy (as he did for the first 6 rounds) but I think he will be mentally affected by the thought of fighting a monster like Antonio Margarito again. You just cant come back from a beating like that.

Cotto has balls if the rematch takes place.

theres nothing cotto has to do but extend those 5-6 rounds to 12 nothing more. If i were him i'd rent Del la Hoya's or Mosley's Boxing facility in Big Bear California and trian intensely in that high altitude to better his stamina. If he some how finds away to extend those 5-6 rounds i think he wins. In addition, to Margaritos punching power I think Cotto took it well because he wasn't, in fact stunned, he was overwhelmed with pressure and a accumulation of punches.

Sure he can come back from a loss like that. He is going to be fighting Jennings for the WBO belt and that will give him more confidence with having a title. I am not saying he is going to win or lose, but he is going to come very prepared.

I think it's almost suicide. Even when Cotto was out boxing Margarito he was getting tagged hard, he looked uncomfortable and was eventually broken down physically but even more importantly, mentally.

Personally, I may be one of the few that thinks Cotto has a better chance in the rematch.

I know this was a brutal fight, and a fighter's first loss is one that hits hard, especially one as discouraging as this one must have been...

But Cotto is an elite, SEASONED fighter...he's not Kelly Pavlik. He didn't get outclassed...he got beat in a brutal encounter he held his own in until the 11th. Cotto has the ability to learn from this fight, adapt to the mistakes he made, and come back stronger.

Personally, I wouldn't want to rematch Cotto, if I was Margarito. It's a tough fight to take again...

And physically Cotto won't ever have what it takes to beat Margarito.

I'm sure a third fight would be nice.

best way to tell is cotto in a warm up fight before fighting margo. if he wins spectacular, he has a great chance for redemption. if he struggles, it signs for not so good things to come for cotto. other than a 3rd jmm-pacman fight, cotto-margo 2 is the most wanted now
