Some of the members on here say that Pacquiao has a glass jaw. What do you think? How good or bad is it? I say the Marquez knockout was more of a combination of Marquez landing the perfect counter and Pacquiao's punch resistance deteriorating with age. I mean, he'll be 35 soon, which means he's getting up there.

Very good chin. Not iron/among the GOAT, or else he would've stood up to what Torrecampo and even Marquez nailed him with - but very good.

Lol of course any fighter who's recently been knocked out will be deemed to have a glass jaw by these high school kids/casual fans. That's expected for anyone, not just Pacquiao.

Pacquiao's chin is great. Almost iron. Aside from a beastly Marquez, no one has ever hurt him by the chin, even though he's been hit repetitively. This list includes Barrera, Morales, old-man Mosley, Cotto, and Margarito.

its wierd i think in his early days his chin was average, then he became a beast and took anyones best shots and answered back with better ones. now he is getting dropped by marquez twice (one a knockout) who has has fought 4 times now... if it was just the one knockout i would not be able to gauge if his punch resistance is gone but that first knockdown tells me his chin has gone down a level

You might want to brush up on your history. Larios moved up 2 divisions and wobbled Pac with a shot to the jaw. Hussien knocked him down and hurt him bad with a jab.

Roy was also floored in his prime by Del Valle.

Uh - please tell me you don't still believe Torrecampo landed a "low blow" despite various angles of slow motion replay showing it to have been a clear punch landing flush on the chin?

clearly he's got a good chin.
Clearly it's not iron, but no where near
glass. He is not a cutie, he'd have
been blasted hundreds of times if
it was glass. he gets hit alot.

Good chin, considering his **** defense. He's been popped many a times.
