Great fighter and one of the best top tier boxers of the 90s/00s. His style and fundamentals are a drawback to those like Moore and others of the 40s/50s/60s. A drawback is his output and I think judges generally had a bias against him. Again partially his fault he didn't let his hands go more. Some of y'all are confusing footwork w footspeed. Very stationary and not a mover at all but he had great footwork hence him being one of the best counterpunchers to do it. His pivots and ability to be hard to hit yet in your face were top tier along w his timing. He could've been higher ranked if he had more discipline but to move from JMW to HVY and not b hurt much or stopped is very impressive. I do favor movers w lots of skill to give him hell like Nunn(despite losing) and moreso Roy did. Him facing Charles, Moore, Fullmer, Harold Johnson, Burley, Lamotta, Basilio, etc really interest me.
