Your thoughts on the first night of the Super Six!!! (A Primetime-free thread)

very solid start, even though i missed the AA vs Taylor fight and just cought it today, i enjoyed both fights, much better to come and i hope this tourney stays on course although i have my doubts.

bad decisions and brutal KO's/beating are gonna be the undoing of this tourney and we had both on the same night.

Really felt for Taylor and i hope he's OK, I always said he was just there for a paycheck, he's done! i wouldn't blame them if they pulled him out.

AA used the 12th round as the "away" fighter. But for 2 mins of that 12th frame JT was bouncing forward and looked to have some life left in him. If Ward outpoints Kessler which I think he will, I think JT should stay in this thing because his next fight vs. Ward won't be a brutal war. If I'm Jermaine I do everything I can to lobby my way for one last stand vs. Ward and win or lose, I then retire. Remember, there's still $40M left in the kitty for Jermaine Taylor to scrape 5% more.

AA looks a beast, i think he might struggle against slicker fighters in the tourney though and thats what makes it so great, i can't see anyone going undefeated with the amount of different styles invovled.
