I would save the pinch for the large pile set aside for Victor's nigh inedible pile of bull****. :yep

What makes Rob Garcia's testimony so very damning is the very fact that his reputation is sterling. I've never heard anyone except Ortiz and Danny Garcia suggest that the man is anything short of honest to a fault. (and Ortiz is blatantly psychotic, and Danny has outright admitted on 24/7 that he would say and do anything - even become an enemy of his own kin - to stay on the Starlight Express with his pupil and put food on his nuclear family's table...so the credibility of that pair especially as it relates to this topic calls for enough grains of salt to make a Ramen noodle addict die of sudden sodium shock) It's to the point where the most prevalent comment upon his taking up with Margarito was "Why would a man of integrity like him have aught to do with caught & punished cheating scum?" - but that quickly subsided in favor of "what a swell guy to take in a 2nd-chancer looking for redemption..."

As for what actually went down between those parties - only they amd those far closer to the situation than us know for sure. Likewise about Ortiz's falling out and persisting feud with Brandon Rios (who proved to be a bit of a tosser himself with the Parkinson's mockery, but to my likes is the lesser of two assholes and certainly seems the more WYSIWYG type). Throw in his estranged father supposedly attending Star Power as a personal guest od PBF, and a pattern emerges of those having had anything to do with Ortiz having little ammunition with which to flatter him afterward and little love lost.

Yeh Robert comes across great with the Seckbach videos. I still don't quite understand why he gives Ellie such ludicrous access but it gives great insight into the gym at least. It seems he genuinely cares for his boxers regardless of their skill-level. Real class:good

The stoppage was a cheap shot, yes Ortiz had just nutted him, but after landing the left Floyd shoulda left it like that and beckoned Ortiz to fight. He could've then went on to really punish Ortiz and EVERYONE would have been onside with him.

Mayweather had the chance here to be universally accepted as the good guy but still managed to come away with controversy and criticism surrounding him.

Mayweather, I agree he looked to have declined slightly by his own standards. He did miss and he did back up in straight lines and get hit more than I expected. But the one glaring aspect for me was that he only threw punches when Ortiz didn't.

I've always said a Pacquiao fight would be a decision victory for Mayweather but I am considering changing my pick to Manny after what I saw at the weekend.

Ortiz, he didn't surprise me and I wasn't the only one around who predicted a Mayweather stoppage (have you ever seen so many predicting a Mayweather KO?)

I branded him a poor mans Hatton but that's an insult to Ricky. I believed the Berto win was overrated and still do. (Berto is not that good)

The guy does seem to be a phony, Oscar puppet, and whilst some think he should quit or may quit, I think he'll be around for a long time and that GBP will have a path mapped out for him.

Cortez, nothing to say really, he's finished, done. It's this man who "dont know **** about boxing" and should be "fired", not Larry.

Merchant, I don't really see what he did to envoke Floyds wrath. He was actually praising Floyd when he blew up.

What transpired really did amaze me, some have suggested it was all a bit WWE and to be honest, I certainly wouldn't rule out that this was all staged although it is a stretch. Fight fixing does exist and has happened in Boxing and it's established that Ortiz and Garcia seem to be somewhat shady whilst we know it's all about the money for Floyd. If a re-match happens and all parties involved make more money and use this controversy to build it up it will definitely have a suspicious feel to it for me.
