Name your top-10 all-time list at 105-130 lbs. Guys like De la Hoya can't be on that list as he only had 2 fights where he weighed 130 or less.
01 - Willie Pep 02 - George Dixon 03 - Terry McGovern 04 - Sandy Saddler 05 - Jimmy Wilde 06 - Eder Jofre 07 - Fighting Harada 08 - Ruben Olivares 09 - Sal Sanchez 10 - Wilfredo Gomez
What a great list! Given some time I might add or take a name away, but really can't improve on this.
Modern fighters only and in no order Ricardo Lopez Miguel Canto Roman Gonzalez Fighting Harada Manny Pacquiao Erik Morales Marco Antonio Barrera Betulio Gonzalez Eder Jofre Azumah Nelson
1. Pep 2. Wilde 3. Saddler 4. Armstrong 5. Jofre 6. Sanchez 7. Arguello 8. McGovern 9. Zarate 10. Attell
One or two of my guys have ventured up to 135, but I've basically concentrated on guys who did the lion's share of their best work at Super-Feather or lower. The ordering isn't random by any means, but a couple might be swapped round if I'd had more time to properly ponder it. Guys who competed for a while at 130 or lower, but whose careers generally peaked and lasted longer in the higher weights (Mayweather, Chavez, Pacquiao, De la Hoya etc) weren't considered for those reasons. 1) Willie Pep 2) Sandy Saddler 3) Alexis Arguello 4) Eder Jofre 5) Salvador Sanchez 6) Azumah Nelson 7) Jimmy Wilde 8) Ricardo Lopez 9) Fighting Harada 10) Vicente Saldivar Near misses: Barrera, Morales, Fenech, Galaxy, Genaro, Canto, Zarate etc.
