I don't think he was ripping shots to the body those taps can't be considered bodyshots as when you have one arm d****d around a guy and punching with the other in a clinch that ins't effective aggression or effective punching. Now, if he was getting inside and ripping bodyshots over and over like say Gerry ****ey or Rid**** Bowe used to do that is a whole different story but that isn't what Jennings was doing. I had it 9-2-1 just like Lederman did and Lederman is no Klitschko fan.

Well he did out land Wlad in power shots by a decent margin. I can understand scoring shots to the head over body shots, but I think the work to Wlad's body certainly did some damage, though I think he should have made more of an attempt to land some head shots late in the fight, but credit to Wlad it is hard to find his chin.

Jennings also proved he had an iron chin, I don't think he is going anywhere for a little while.

People scoring more than 3 rounds for Jennings did so only because Jennings lost those rounds a lot less convincingly than anyone else normally does- but still lost them. You fell into that trap. :nod

Jennings wins one, possibly two rounds against a 39years old champ and that makes him the number one contender? Yeah ok?

I score head and body shots the same if they are actual bodyshots and not just one arm flailing punches with one arm in a clinch and the other tapping punches. Jennings showed an excellent Chin and he used the same high guard Purrity and Sanders used which has proven to be very effective against Wlad. Jennings just didn't do enough which is why he lost the rounds and fight. Roy summed it up pretty well at the end of the fight when he said Jennings had the right gameplan he just wasn't able to execute it properly most likely do to inexperience. He needed to throw more headshots also. I would be all for a re-match provided Wlad can't get Wilder after he Chins Glass Jaw Tyson Fury. Jennings proved a lot to me on Saturday.

Yeah I had him winning six rounds so number one contender is earned.

That's actually a pretty good list. Except I'd move Fury above Povotkin.

Geez, people really rate Stiverne on here. Personally, I think TT beats him.

Was it the 12th round when Wlad landed that right that would have sparked anyone without a good chin?? I can't believe he didn't even go down.

I still believe Povetkin is the second best HW as of today. The upcoming fights will reveal more about where things really stand.
