I guess you'll be able to add Haye and Vitali to that list as well soon.

I also don't see why you have Sultan at 6 when he didn't even compete with Wlad at a nuetral venue while Thompson went to Wlad's territory and at least competed for half the fight.

That Cheater Ruiz should NOT be in the top ten! Hell, it's arguable whether that glorified clubfighter belongs in the top 20! I don't get what the fascination is with a guy who basically can't beat world class opponents without cheating!:patsch

    Anyway, here's my list:

    1. Wlad
    2. Peter
    3. Chagaev
    4. Valuev
    5. Ibragimov
    6. Povetkin
    7. Maskaev
    8. Virchis
    9. Arreola
    10. Thompson
    11. Dimetrenko
    12. Chambers
    13. Gomez
    14. Barrett
    15. Lyakhovich

    very good point!

where i run into a problem is... i dont want to rank thompson above ruiz and chris JUST BECAUSE he extended wlad to the 11th round.... yet i dont want to put sultan below them because lets face it, he was the beltholder one fight ago and lost to the number one

    but lets try it

    How bout this

    1 - Wlad
    2 - Peter
    3 - Chagaev
    4 - Valuev
    5 - Povotkin
    6 - ruiz
    7 - chris
    8 - thompson
    9 - sultan
    10 - ????

With Haye and Vitali waiting in the wings....

i dont like criticing lists but... yours REALLY doesnt make sense to me

You have valuev above chagaev (who beat valuev and hasnt lost since)

You have peter above wlad (who beat peter and hasnt lost since)

you have haye who has never fought in the division before, in front of chagaev, who beat your number one????

    2. David Haye
    3. Samuel Peter
    4. Vitali Klitschko
    5. Ruslan Chagaev
    6. Nikolai Valuev
    7. Chris Arreola
    8. Alexander Povetkin
    9. Sultan Ibragimov
    10. Vladimir Virchis

I don't have any problems putting Haye second. He'd beat every other fighter there, aside from Wlad and possily Vitali. Despite being unproven at heavyweight, he is clearly superior to the majority of them. Vitali may also puzzle some people, considering how long it has been since his last fight and his physical condition. He may turn out to be totally ruined, I don't know, so it's hard to place him. I've put him there based on what I think he will be like when he returns.

Golota should be ranked higher than Lyakhovich, Barret, possibly Dimetrenko.

What has Sergei done to get that ranking? The guy hasn't had a credible win on over 2 years, and is fat at this point comming at a career high vs Valuev and he didn't even win a round vs Valuev. At least Golota beat a top 10 WBA contender.

Barett? Over his win over Fields? Please.

Chagaev never fights he needs to retire. I dropped him in my rankings cause he sucks. I though Valuev should have one that fight anyway. I think peter should be ranked higher do to the fact he has been beating better fighters the last few years. Wlads just kinda coasting fighting a bunch of stiffs. I like Valuev he will fight anyone. Wlads scared to death of him.
