    These posts are great and quite varied.
    I know Morales is more popular than MAB I just don't c how the case can b made for him being better technically. Just feel MAB was more rounded and complete.

    Wasnt he from puerto rican background though ? And american by birth.

    How about the great Baby Arizmendi ? Fought them all, including his fellow mexican Rodolfo Baby Casanova.

    Or the second Hafey fight. He turned pure boxer for that one. Olivares would easily be my number one on this list.

    I think it's harder to pick whos better technically between MAB and JMM. From that point of view I have Morales 3 rd between those 3

    Shout out to Kid Azteca who had wins over Ceferino Garcia, Cocoa Kid x3 IIRC, McDowell, Glick, Baby Joe Gans, YP Jackson among others.

    was of Mexican ancestry , Ortiz was thought of as Mexican in his fighting
    days...Oh I plum forgot Baby Arizmendi who held his own with the prime
    immortal Henry Armstrong in a series of close bouts...
