Off the top of my head, on ability, I'd have it as follows:

    Sanchez
    Chavez
    Olivares
    Morales
    Canto
    Barrera
    Marquez
    Lopez
    Zarate
    Saldivar

I take "ability" to mean the application of the "skills" in question, with respect to- or in conjunction with- their physical prowess. It would be infinitely more difficult to differentiate between these ten purely based on skill.

    Maybe:

    Sanchez
    Chavez
    Canto
    Marquez
    Barrera
    Lopez
    Morales
    Olivares
    Zarate
    Saldivar

Like that. There's a hole in there somewhere. I'm not thrilled about Olivares' and Zarate's placements, for one.

Otherwise Jose Napoles would be numero uno.

A near perfect list but how you can have Hola Senor when Kid Cantinflas whipped him two out of three and stopped Pablo Diego Francisco Salvador y Ruiz de Gonzalez when Senor could do nothing in three tries is beyond me.

Ricardo Lopez was mexicos best fighter. Not the greatest because he was a little guy with no great career defining opponents but if you are talking about pure boxing ability he comes out on top. He could even be the worlds best ever.
