Your top 10 of the Flyweights (112 lbs) of the last decade 2010-2020 ?

personally my top 10 is this one :

1- Pongsaklek Wonjongkam
2- Roman Gonzalez "Chocolatito"
3- Juan Francisco Estrada
4- Koki Kameda
5- Kazuto Ioka
6- Brian Viloria
7- Moruti Mthalane
8- Kosei Tanaka
9- Artem Dalakian
10- Edgar Sosa

Sonny Boy Jaro is for me one of the most weakest Flyweight with Zou Shiming of the last years. He is a journeyman his victory against the old Pongsaklek Wonjongkam is impressive, but he was surely dopped at this moment, after that he did nothing special and becoming a journeyman again.

I would definitely have put Edgar Sosa in his place, as I did, or failing that, Giovani Segura, Donnie Nietes, or Casimero, even though I think Casimero reached his peak at 118 lbs. As for Amnat Ruenroeng, his reign was brilliant, and I like him a lot. He was criticized for his defensive style, but he gave Zou Shiming a memorable boxing lesson. However, I find Artem Dalakian much more well-rounded in his boxing, and he had a longer reign. He was also very much avoided! I think Dalakian could have easily beaten Sho Kimura, Cristofer Rosales, and Moruti Mthalane (who was getting old around 2018) to unify the belts. The fact that he can be a unified champion in another world and also that he had to be dethroned when he was old makes him obviously in this top 10. Besides, Dalakian is the boxer who have the most similar style to Nassem Hamed.

 

That's a good reasoning, but it's based on just one impressive performance... whereas Dalakian and Edgar Sosa's careers represent much more in the world of boxing and even in the category. Nevertheless, yes, I would have included Sonny Boy Jaro in a top 15.
