So, then you would have one of the greatest middleweight boxers of all-time, Marvelous Marvin Hagler behind Micheal Spinks because Marvin was content to dominate his division for years and Micheal moved up to defeat Holmes and get blown out by Tyson at heavyweight? Crazy reasoning. If a fighter fights his best and is physically suited for a specific division and takes on all comers who happen to be the best talentwise in MMA at welterweight like GSP has why should he be penalized? Moving up in weight means nothing if the best competition is at the man's natural weight. GSP has faced and defeated the most talented MMA practitioners out there like Alves, Fitch, Hughes, Sherk and Penn. The welterweight division just happens to be the most stacked out there. Why should he change divisions? He just happens at 5foot 10inches in height to be a welterweight. He needs to fight Silva, who stands around 6foot 2inches at miiddleweight to prove his pound for pound status? No, have Anderson lose 25 lbs. of muscle and fight GSP at welterweight. He would be raped by the french Canadian. Total hypocracy.

You really think Lesnar and Carwin are better P4P then Florian, Maynard, Koscheck, Diego, Edgar, Belfort, Rampage, Rashad.....and thats just a few from the UFC, I'm not even gonna get into the other organizations.

I forgot about rampage since he hasn't fought in a while. Vitor look good beating franklin and lindland but i gotta see him fight a top ufc fighter like schonen-marquardt or silva and win to put him in the top 10.

Florian- could be in there but he loss to sherk who i dont even have in my top 10
Maynard-diego-koscheck and edgar hasn't done enough to be in the top 10.

They all fight in a much more skilled division and don't hold significant weight and size advantages over their opponents. This is "P4P" we are talking about here. How good would Diego be if everyone he fought he held a size advantage over like Lesnar holds?

Diego would be great and he was against Guida. Who has done that to Guida prior to that fight? Diego had a weight adv at LW and he dominated Joe Daddy as well. Remember Diego koed Joe Riggs who at one time fought at MW (I think).

This is why its amazing what BJ did to him.

Still gotta have skills to beat your opponent. Lesnar do have a size advantage and is strong as hell but he also have a great wrestling skills. He didn't beat mir just cuz of his size. He beat him with his wrestling and being able to control mir on the ground.
