I think it depends , how people look at diffrent achivements. For me my dad is a big Tyson fan as is my best mate , i like to watch him and i think what he achived at such a young age gives him a great arguement , sam ewith Patterson at the young age and how he was never a natural HW. Tyson usualy slots into my top 10. The more i think about it Vitali dosent fit into my top 15 but i do see how people can have him in. It also makes Lewis win look better
Love this list....except foreman, frazier and johnson deserve a spot above tunney im afraid.....cant argue with your top 6 though
1.Joe Louis 2.Muhammad Ali 3.George Foreman 4.Larry Holmes 5.Jack Johnson 6.Sonny Liston 7.Lennox Lewis 8.Mike Tyson 9.Jack Dempsey 10.Rocky Marciano 11.Joe Frazier 12.James J. Corbett 13.Gene Tunney 14.Evander Holyfield 15.Riddick Bowe
Nice list. :good Holyfield at #6 & Tyson at #7 are great placements. I personally would have Lewis & Marciano higher, with Johnson & Foreman lower. Also i'd definitely have Walcott over Vitali & I consider Wlad to be the greater brother. Liston would be in my top 10 too.
1) David Haye 2) Micheal Grant 3) Jameel Mcline 4) Goofy Whitaker 5) Lou Salverese 6) Marvis Frazier 7) Frank Bruno 8) Kevin Mcbride 9) Olin Norris 10)John Ruiz 11)Monte Barret 12)Calvin Brock 13)Oleg Mascow 14)Shannon Briggs 15)king pin johnson
it took alot of thought to compile this list of true elites who contribution to boxing are second to non.
I didnt notice marciano at 3, was just glad the list didnt read 1. Lewis ... lol marciano should be around 10-15 bracket
