Yeah 100% compared to the ******* divisions, and it's probably third lowest of the original 8? Third or second to the bottom of the OG 8, but at least 4 of those are super, super deep.
Not for me, Noel, but that's because I only factor in fights contested at Fly. I've just checked my notes and he was one of the fighters I studied in consideration for my top 20 list, in the notes column I've typed "Roughly 7-0 at Flyweight. Not enough fights to rank all time at the weight. Excluded from analysis". I'd have LaBarba above many in my top 20 Flyweight list, if I were ranking than p4p based on all career contests at every weight.
Of the original 8 weight divisons, Flyweight wouldn't compare well to the other 7 based on an analysis of the quantity of fighters typically ranked top 10, 20, 50 or on McGrains top 100, p4p all time lists. That may be due to a combination of sub conscious bias (as Flyweights have the lowest profile) and a lower talent pool for men weighing so little (e.g. there will always be more WWs than Flyweights).
