With 2 seconds to go, Taylor was in lala land starting off into the distance with a referee right in his face trying to get his attention.

The object is to render your opponent defenseless or beat him on points. Chavez was behind but look at the damage he did. He literally ruined Taylor in one night. I agree with the stoppage, but whether you do or not him being behind earlier doesn’t render what he did at the end meaningless.

Even if though people always say he was green at the weight, Benitez still clearly outboxed Cervantes at 140, and El Radar is a force at the weight.

    I'd pick Benitez over Pryor.

Benitez vs Pryor would have been an excellent fight. As much as I like Benitez I personally would still put my money on Pryor. I just think Pryor would be all over him from the opening bell and wouldn't give Benitez the space he usually like to work with. Benitez had flat out amazing speed and was defensively as good as it gets but would he be able to get set with Pryor applying the pressure that he was capable of? Pryor was no slouch in the speed department either. This would have been a fantastic fight!
