I think the sum evidence tells us that Sturm was pretty far declined, only barely scraping by Murray and Macklin, and then Geale. The fact that he thoroughly licked Zbik in between just tells us what some of us already knew (and didn't let the Chavez fiasco chance our mind about) - that Zbik sucks.

If you're hung up on the idea that Zbik can't suck, because he made Chavez struggle - then maybe it's cause to reexamine how you rate Chavez...

He may have been a 30-0 "titlist (interim)" heading into the Chavez fight, but he'd feasted on third-tier Euro level competition and never exactly dominated. I mean, FFS, life and death with Spada? In two of the ugliest and most boring fights of the last decade, I might add. They made Ruiz vs. Valuev I and II look like the Vazquez vs. Marquez trilogy.

Zbik sucks. Yeah, he arguably got jobbed against Chavez - but all that tells us is that you can throw pretty much anyone with a chin and the vaguest idea how to spoil an aggressor's boxing and they'll have some success against the (mysteriously :blood) strong but limited Chavez...not that Zbik doesn't suck. :yep

Sturm over the hill? Really? Never knew being 31 was considered over the hill. Did you morons ever consider that maybe Murray and Macklin were BETTER than Sturm, hence why he looked **** and was gifted a German descision. And anyone who actually watched the SS fight would no it was not close AT ALL, just another case of shady judging in a foreign country.

Geale is the clear number #2 in the division based on both opposition and achievements but don't let these facts get in the way of your GGG nuthugging.
