Why are you people saying Fury?

He's not a current heavyweight anymore than Vitali is.

 

Hence the putting them together in honorable mentions in my case. Tyson will be back at some point obviously.

 

If he returns I'm expecting something like Ricky Hatton.

 

Very possible. His lifestyle will likely catch up to him some point. Only saving grace is that HW is usually more forgiving for that kind of thing than the lower weight classes.

Yeah, but age doesn't play nice with a boxer so dependent on good movement.

 

Ortiz, Joshua, Povetkin atm. If boxing were organized rationally they would fight each other in 2017.

 

Povetkin - Comes to rumble, every time. Has blistering combo punching. Gotta respect that.
Wilder - Brings the lulz
Klitschko - Brings heartburn for Dino and Herol*.

To be completely honest, HW isn't all that exciting right now compared to the other weight divisions.

Guys like Takam, Ortiz, Parker are fun but they wouldn't give a prime Foreman sleepless nights. Tyson "You couldn't knock out a w*nk much less me" Fury is a riot in his conferences, and clearly has some skills, but has even bigger mental issues. Klitschko was awesome to watch ... 10 years ago and in the Pulev fight. Haven't watched enough AJ, he's clearly very powerful but green.

Gotta be honest, slim pickings.
