Goosen is obligated to offer him a fight. And it´s not just any fight because there is a set minimum purse so you can´t just go around fighting anyone.
I think anyone can agree on Rigo and Golovkin being the #1 and 2 in whatever order. Kovalev probably at #3
Well the MW champ is taking a more lucrative and safer comeback fight. Actually this is Sergios second one in a row. And many have forgotten that Golovkins first fight on HBO was 09/12 while Sergios injuries began taking their toll on his career on 09/12 While Golovkin was making a name for himself, Sergio was dealing with injuries and his comeback fight against Murray backfired. Now you have Sturm. A mighty quack he is. Ducked GGG on several occasions. Geale opted to take a less risky fight and it backfired. Quillin is talking smack but due to promotional BS they can´t fight. Not on US Tv it seems. Monaco anyone? And Chavez jr has his issues with Bob and TR. Only a few mil to fight Golovkin on PPV? Bad timing and BS circumstances have left him in the cold but this wont last long.
Golovkins team is avoiding ward until ggg is more experienced. Having ggg on the list and not ward makes no sense
GGG is obviously the more ducked than Ward. This thread has gotten its answer, Rigo and GGG 1 and 2 for sure and probably Kovalev 3.
Rigo is obviously number 1. Kovalev is number 2.. As for GGG, the only person who's possibly ducking him is Quillin(who's Showtime). Sturm fights out of Germany, he might be ducking GGG too, I'm not sure about the whole situation. But Martinez claimed he wanted GGG after Cotto. Can't really claim Martinez is ducking him when he had a tune up fight after Chavez, injuries, and is now fighting for money and to make more of a name for himself. So number 3 would have to probably be Herrera. After he beat Danny's ass, NOBODY is gonna wanna fight him.
Hey man, do you agree, if Ward moves up to 175 he should fight at least one tune-up before facing Kovalev/Stevenson? Or he should jump straight for the title shot in the higher weight he does not campaign? Answer honestly.
Martin Murray had the fight with GGG if he wanted it in Monte Carlo but wanted to fight on the undercard instead. Hearn admitted about a year or 18 months ago that he was looking at any titlest except GGG for Barker cos GGG was too dangerous. Sturm fighting in Germany is hardly much of an excuse, and wasnt he offered the fight at one stage too? Its not as if Sturm is going to offer a unification either. More will emerge with JCC deal but it seemed to me he priced himself out of the fight. Geale wanted nothing to do with GGG when he had the title either.
So what? Read my post again. Are you saying E-Rod, the lesser draw, offered that fight to Ward? He didn't. The money came from the bigger draw & HBO. Goossen reached out, not the opposite. Again, Ward cannot be ducked.
