    I purposely left out some big name Heavyweights because i find it difficult to rate them p4p unless we are talking about the Greatest himself who i dare not omit.

    I’d probably switch out Holyfield for Pernell Whitaker.

    Easily done! Whitaker is far from being a personal favourite of mine but his record is undeniable, of course.

    If we are factoring in the entire careers of fighters who retired in the last 50 years:

    1. Duran
    2. Ali
    3. SRL
    4. Mayweather
    5. Pacquiao
    6. Whittaker
    7. Jofre
    8. Monzon
    9. M. Spinks
    10. RJJ

    If only fights that happened in the past 50 years count, then Jofre and Monzon would drop out altogether and be replaced by JCC and Hagler. Ali would lose key fights too, he would still have enough post Aug 73 to keep him in, I'd have to think about it more carefully to order him properly.

    If it’s the last 50 years that would make it 1973 onwards - on that basis I’m not sure Saldivar would have a place given his best work happened between 1964 and 1970. Depends if that’s the exact criteria, though.

    Some controversial picks there in your second list.
    I do agree that lomachenko is criminally underrated now.
    Canelo is my favorite active fighter to watch right now. His style is extremely pleasing to me. But he does not belong in that discussion IMO.
    He is 1-1-1 against the 2 ATGs he fought and they were both waaay older than him.
    I thought the cotto fight was way too close considering cotto was much smaller, 10 years older and shopworn as well.
    I dont think he even deserves to be above a trinidad, morales, barrera, wright a cotto or mosley tbh.

    It's not an exact science...
    It comes down to what you like, how you weigh the wins / losses / best performances / worst /performances / number of weight classes / total time at or near the top / the eye test etc.

    In other words, it's a subjective exercise.

    I don't see much of a case for having Wright or Tito ahead of Canelo.

    I do agree that you could make a case for including either or both of MAB or Morales.
