Given that Jacobs seems to really be dividing opinion, I was interested to see what your top 5 at 160 looks like. I'm guessing we'll all have the same number 1, other than Steve_Fox who will most likely have 'bumluvkin' or something similarly witty. Mine is: 1) GGG 2) Jacobs 3) Saunders 4) Lemieux 5) Derevyanchenko N.B my 2 and 3 are interchangeable depending on how hard Saunders bothers to train. I'm as high on CEJ as some of you other guys but I would have left him out anyway as he's fighting at 168 next. Big Dominic 'The Destroyer' Wade makes number 6 FYI
I still think Quillin is still a force in the division, despite his devastating loss to Jacobs. Lee and Lemieux are pretty even, and Ndam is still lurking and the dark horse Khurtsidze is a live dog against anybody. Still a pretty weak division though.
1) GGG 2) Jacobs 3) Saunders 4) Lemieux 5) Derevyanchenko copy/paste from the op. I completely agree. Quillin has been out for a full year, should have gone 1-2 in his last 3 fights instead of 1-1-1 and said he had too much troube making 160 anymore so would step up to 168 when he comes back.
Maybe not H2H, with guys like Khytrov, N'Dam, Derevyanchenko, Golovkin, Sulecki, Lemiuex and Jackobs all rated above him imo, but by resume he sure is.
Here's my top 5, and it's a sickening list. Could you imagine a super 6 adding in bjs, that would **** all over the weak 6 of 168 they screwed up royally GGG Canelo CEJ Jacobs Lemieux
