Yeah I should have included Hagler on that list but I believe Foreman's chin is very underrated. Hagler had a very good defense and Foreman did not, both have iron chins. I'd place Hagler in my top 5-10 for sure.
McCall Vitali would have been a good fight in the late 90s. A KO on Akinwande in 01 showed he was still a decent test but he basically faded into obscurity after the 97 Lewis 2 incident.
I know that Lewis's uppercut and Corrie Sander's left hand is one the deadliest punches in boxing, but I feel like Wlad's left hook and right cross is much dangerous than those two punches. He took all those right crosses without a minor flinch! Even the left hook that Wlad threw at him was soo hard that he felt if it was was broken, and even that didn't even dropped Peter and Peter manage to recover quickly from the punch! This content is protected And if you look earlier in this video, you'll notice that there's 4 clean crosses that Wlad hit him with, those punches are no joke! the form the distance and the way he generated the punch is exactly the same way he did to KO every single one of his opponents. I just think it doesn't look deadly becuz Samuel Peter took it like it was nothing. Like literally, at 0:29 that was a clean punch on the jaw but Peter just kept moving forward. 1:29 was impressive too!! Peter was like "what was that?"
I think wach has the best chin in boxing history, i dont think there was even one punch that made him feel woozy. The 12 round beating klitschko gave him was inhumane and the ref should have been banned for allowing that. His fight against povetkin was also brutal.
This content is protected This is the most I've seen GGG bothered and it's from a WW. He'd be in very serious trouble if RJJ, Julian Jackson or Gerald McClellan caught him flush like that. He can't be rated top 5. Lemieux and Stevens don't cut it compared to real murderous punchers.
Shannon Briggs has to be on the list. He took so much of a beating from V. Klitschko and didn't even get knocked down. He was hospitalised after the fight.
Ali fought in an era that contained some of the Biggest punchers in Heavyweight history....Liston...Shavers....Foreman to name a few and in his career was never TKOd....We underestimate just how great his chin was.!!!!!
A great chin for sure, but he is behind the very elite Definitely has a top chin though Fluid as you call him has good whiskers too
