    I've seen it .
Cerdan took the title off of a past it Zale.
He has wins over Williams,Abrams,Green Zale and Dellannoit these are the class men he fought and beat Dellannoit also beat him,the only one he stopped was the washed up Zale. Forty seven of his 65 stoppage wins are over journeymen, and five were debutees.

Cerdan had dynamite in both hands, he was sharp, he was strong and he was aggressive.
Zale had just kayoed Graziano. Zale was only two years older than him.
If Cerdan had come to America earlier and lived to fight LaMotta in a rematch, he would definitely have gone down as a top 5 MW.
Majority of fighters are journeymen you will find a whole bunch of journeymen on anyones record... which of the fighters were debutees its no good just saying some were debutees you have to name them.
He won European titles at WW and MW back when that meant something and fought exhibitions during the war. Many of soldiers who saw said he was one of the greatest they'd ever seen.
How many middleweights do you know with 65 knockouts?

Zale had lost 4 years to the war ,he wasnt the same fighter when he restarted his career, thats why he avoided Lamotta,Burley, and Williams and took on the ticket selling Graziano, for his pension plan.
Why do you want me to name them do you think I am lying?
    Anyway here they are.
    John McCoy 1943
    James Toney 1943
    Clint Perry 1944
    Ralph Burnley1944
    Willie Simpson 1944.
Here's some more padding on his ko record.
    Manca 5-2-2 1944
    Walker 23-19-1 1947
    Fouquet 19-4-3 1947
    Piankowak 16-134-13 1946
    Brun 30-12 -15 1946
    Boutin 20-13-6 1945
    Menozzi 20-14-3 1943
    Gibson 3-0-0 1944
    Boulaya 2-3-2 1944
    Drouhin 0-0-1 1944
    Milano 0-1-0 1943
    Buttin 10-5-4 1942
    Kop 13-6-8 1942
    There's a good 20 more like this.
    When the titles meant something?
Cerdan fought Giovanni Manca for the EBU Middleweight title .Manca was 5-2-2!
How many middleweights do I know who had 65 ko's?
How many of those 65 were middleweights ?
Cerdan had 114 fights. how many fighters in the last 50 years had that many

    Which?

    I say
    Williams
    Zale
    Delanoit
I think you are being overly generous.
Dick Turpin was very briefly ranked.
    Abrams wasn't ranked.
    Green wasn't ranked.
    Humery wasn't ranked.
    Williams was ranked
Delanoit was ranked, and they split a pair of fights.
Zale was past it, having his last fight.
