    1. Joe Calzaghe - A whole career full of carefully selected fights. 95 percent of them not in the U.S. The most balls he ever showed was fighting Mikkel Kessler and Jeff Lacy. Those are his two biggest accomplishments. Both were undefeated therefore he showed some guts by fighting them but they both turned out not to be top-tier fighters by any stretch. Mikkel Kessler will lose to anyone who can box at all...mark my words on that. Jeff Lacy lost to a shell of RJJ and barely got by Manfredo. Wouldnt fight RJJ in his prime, wouldnt fight B-Hop in his prime, and so and so in their prime and on and on and on. Biggest ducker of this era.

    2. Floyd Mayweather - I wanted but cant put him as number one because he didn't do it obviously for his whole career. Funny thing is if you type "ducking/duckers in boxing" the whole first page will be about nothing but Floyd Mayweather lol so I kind of feel like I should have gave him number 1. However, Floyd in his earlier days fought Corrales and Castillo which earns him some favor with me. However his calculated selections of smaller and older men as competition recently definitely makes him a contender for 1 p4p ducker.

    3. Prince Naseem Hamed - Another European boxer with a fabricated record. He came to America and beat Kevin Kelly which I guess should stand for something but its what he did afterwords that makes me call him a ducker. He comes here with all this hype and this great record(against bums) beats Kevin Kelly who is a legitimate contender for just about anybody and then what does he do? Fights nothing but bull**** fights until he fight Barrera and gets exposed as a fraud. He goes home, beats another no name and quits. Wow, what a circus act!

4.Roy Jones - Not as obvious as the three fighters above but he definitely was cherry picking fighters once he became "the man" for much longer than people remember. I would say from about 1996 to around when he went up to Heavyweight he was definitely cherry picking obviously thats like 8 years of his career or so. In his earlier years he beat Toney and Hopkins so two thumbs up. Afterwords he doesn't fight Hopkins for a rematch when Hopkins is the man. Calzaghe doesn't fight him and he doesn't fight Calzaghe(strikes against both of them). Finally he gets beaten by the not all that great Antonio Tarver and the even less not all that great Johnson. Both exposed his jaw was never that great and he relied completely on speed to be that good.

    5. Bernard Hopkins - Was done the most subtle of all the fighters listed. After he became a reigning champ he did 2 things that stood out to me as ducker. First he stays at his division and never moves up although there were mega-fights that could have happened both up and down. Actually he never goes up until he fights Tarver but before that when he mattered he only goes down or stays at his weight. Now I will say this, after his destruction of the much smaller DLH(cough cough) and after he lost to Taylor twice he has been more willing to fight whoever later in his career. He definitely isnt a full fledged ducker but he has definitely shown hints throughout his career although many might disagree.

Some good thoughts here. I disagree with some of the selections, but of those listed Joe Calzaghe would be #1.

#1 P4P ducker of the last 20 years would have to be the fabled Sven Ottke (another joke who retired undefeated), with Calzaghe and Zsolt Erdei close on his heels...and Erdei isn't done ducking yet, so watch out. :yep

Calzaghe's problem was Warren. Joe should have dumped Warren 5 years before he did and he would have had bigger fights.

Glass Jaw Roy Jones has to top the list he had nobody holding him back but refused to make big fights. The guy is a disgrace and a fraud.

Like Mundine, Andrade, Beyer? They can't box at all? That's why they were in the RING top 5? I am pretty sure they can box.

I'd actually agree with you, for the most part. You could throw in Floyd Mayweather in there too.

Yeah FMJ ducked cotto whom he challenged and Arum said no. Then he called out SSM twice and was told twice no. Even SSM's fans admit that. And now Pac doesnt want a 14 day window of all the PED's his body can take and he makes ur ******ed list. I bet you think Koki is a great champion too!

Calzaghe's "resume" (I use the term loosely here) argues my case better than I ever could. :yep
