For starters, Jones and Hopkins years ago. If he was so brave to fight them now, why didn't he leave the pond years ago when he was busy making pointless defenses of his WBOgus title?

Hell, he could've gone up to light heavy and tried this YEARS ago, when Tarver and Glen Johnson were in the P4P Top 10. Oh, that's right, he ducked Johnson THREE times.

Here comes the spin from the JC fans. Your guy is a JOKE.

    1. Hopkins pulled out of a fight in 2002( I happen to agree with his reasoning, but the fact remains it was him that pulled the plug). Both Roy and Joe have recently made very clear why the fight betwen was never made before, so i dont have to speak for them.

    2. ****in right i wish he had moved up earlier, but then again I also wish he'd dropped the decision to Reid, so maybe not the best person to ask. Was Johnson ever in the p4p top 10!!??. On the other side of that coin is that Lacy's bubble would still be intact and we'd have constant cries of Joe ducked him and Kessler, rather than you saying he should have moved up and fought Tarver and Johnson.

    3. No spin needed, those are all facts i've written and he's not my guy, I can be very critical of him, but in a thread about Cherrypicking he shouldnt be even thought of, he cleaned out a division and when he moved up he beat the man. Thats not cherrypicking your way through divisions, avoiding the best a division has to offer. People love to hate, but at least pick threads that fit.

....JERMAINE TAYLOR fought BHOP TWICE than instead of a break who did he fight???? a P4P top 5 guy in a war...than he fights two champions that were lighter and posed style problems...THAN he steps up to fight a devastating puncher and gets ko'd...so does he run...no he wants an IMMEDIATE rematch and fights hid heart out..so he moves up a weight...NO TUNE UP"s takes on a huge puncher with his back against the wall in basically what amounts to a loser leave town match....ARE U ****ING KIDDING ME?????

    cherry picker:

130 corralles...#1 contender at that weight
    135 Castillo twice...#1 contender
140 Gatti was on a roll and the champion at that weight not a pound for pound guy but floyd treated him like a 6 year old...than he destroyed everyone else including jesus chavez with a broken hand by stoppage
147 he fought the title holder than the former king of 147 judah...both blowouts

than he fought the #1 guy at 140 and blew him out

than he fought the #1 guy at 154 or dan close to it and beat him giving up 15 lbs fight night

so he never fought cotto or argarito...big ****ing deal...he would beat them both
