Why Jofre? I am going to, in fact, make a thread about that.

I just think that he was one of the greatest ever , 1 of the best ever bantams , I have just Zarate above him ATG there . Then lost 2 to Harada and then come back at 126 and never lost again . One of the very best ever

    At this moment in time.

    1. Robinson (The closest to a perfect boxer that there ever was. Win/loss ratio in prime. Longevity. Performance against larger men. Conquests. Lionheart. More adaptable and skilled than ackowledged.)

    2. Pep (The most magnificient boxer in history. Longevity. Win/loss ration in prime. Great skill cubed times natural talent cubed)

    3. Armstrong (Simultaneous titlist in a third of extant divisions. Performance against larger men. Relatively short but devestating prime. Probably the most difficult style to defeat anyway, and Armstrong's version of it was examplary.)

    4. Greb (The ultimate swarmer. Conquests. Performance against larger men. Activity)

    5. Duran (Swarmer/Puncher/Boxer-Puncher/Counterpuncher evolving style -rooted in 100 combined years of pugilistic knowledge inherited from Arcel and Brown. 32yearsis serious longevity. Inconsistent, but extremely formidable when inspired. Performance against larger men)

    6. Charles (another complete boxer-puncher with monsters among the vanquished. The greatest of the LHWs during its deepest era.

...A note on the styles: Interestingly, there are at least 2 swarmers here. Two boxer-punchers, and one defensive specialist. A good array. For those of you who refuse to include Duran, take further note. He combines all of the representative styles... a swarmer/pressure fighter, boxer-puncher, and a defensive specialist or damn near it. And he was considered a puncher as well.

6.Can pick one from at least five guys. Today I'm going with Duran, but tomorrow it could be Ali, next day Walker, next day Pep, next day Benny Leonard. I have a clear top 5, then it gets tricky to separate them.

I dont really like doing lists, i know i have one on here, but this thread is ancient. Anyway i want to say how bad it is that Ali gets overlooked sometimes in general, he may not be in the top six for a lot of people due to other people simply getting above him. But for me there is no problem having him up there with the finest. I have to say sometimes itlooks as though there is an agenda against him. Fuking fantastic resume, sparkling, looks as though he is the best of his division h2h. Heavyweights should get a look in on p4p lists just as much any other weight provided they are good/great enough to be on the list.

Muhammad Ali is a shout for the finest ever, im not a fan of his at all, but let's have it right. He isnt the greatest because of others being greater, but if you want to throw names around he is one of them.
