    How did I miss this?

Anyways I posted my top 50 p4p (a slightly flawed list in... hindsight... Flashbacks to Barney Ross ignorance) but the top 10 I still wholeheartedly support, that being:

    1a. Ray Robinson
    1b. Harry Greb
    3. Joe Louis
    4. Sam Langford
    5. Rocky Marciano
    6. Muhammad Ali
    7. Henry Armstrong
    8. Ezzard Charles
    9. Willie Pep
    10. Bob Fitzsimmons

"Best" is different from greatest in my book.

For example, Roy Jones doesn't rank among the top 10 greatest fighters of all time, but in his prime, not sure if there's ever been anyone BETTER.

Well Nunn pole axed your number 2 in under half a round when he was peak so he can't be too far from the 10.

Athletically to the eye, and on highlight reels. On a head to head basis, McClellan and Nunn would've beaten him in real time. Charles, Moore, Monzon, Hagler, Louis; these guys would time him. I think six rounds with Nigel Benn at his most aggressive is too many rounds for Jones to escape...

Nunn didn't plan to do that, which makes it a lucky shot in a way. Plus Nunn was a lanky long southpaw runner with natural speed so had so many non-technical advantages, and he never got up to win or really went for it in narrow points losses. If you place emphasis on aggression, Barkley deserved at least a draw and look what Kalambay did with him.

Where do you rate James Toney? He had a winning record over McCallum, knocked out Nunn who had knocked out Sumbu and blitzed Barkley to boot.

    Toney? Very high. McCallum too.

Kalambay was almost another level though, outpointing Graham and McCallum on that run, running away with it against a peak Barkley etc. DeWitt never got a look-in, and look what trouble he gave a peak Tommy

This is your world your list with whatever rules or parameters you want. So long as it’s a serious list and not one containing Ruiz or something lol I personally think people like RJJ and Mayweather are slightly under rated here but to each their own

I'm surprised he doesn't make more top 100 lists and the Ring's top 80.

Nigel Benn is not knocking out Roy Jones in 6 rounds. I don’t even think Nigel Benn believes that one
