Louis did such a terrible things with his punches to fighters bigger and stronger than him that I'd definitely include him even for pure power. Have you seen his jab? His hook? Even uppercut? Body shots? His regular punches affected his opponents more than most of the other mentioned here.
Shavers Foreman Tyson Marciano Wilder Louis Dempsey Baer Wlad Klitschko Liston Lewis I know it said 10 but I think they're all staples. In no particular order
Your opinion but personally I would take Frazier and Bowe over Baer and Williams on your list any day..
Men that should be considered for standing out relative to their eras: Max Baer Curtis Sheppard Ernie Shavers Lamon Brewster
I'd add Peter Maher to this list, nobody in his prime hit as hard as him (probably even Fitzsimmons).
I'll try an ordered one. 1. Earnie Shavers 2a. Joe Louis 2b. George Foreman 4. Mike Tyson 5. Rocky Marciano 6. Sonny Liston 7. Max Baer 8. Jack Dempsey After here I can't really split the rest.
Typical Tyson hater list. Cooney ? Bad joke .Considering their Spinks and Holmes fights .Tyson destroyed these easily and Cooney lost .
No order Foreman Tyson Marciano Frazier Louis Wlad Lewis Dempsey Baer Liston Sure Wilder makes the list at some point if KOs some worthy opp
1. Shavers 2. Foreman 3. Tyson 4. Baer 5. Liston 6. Louis 7. Marciano 8. Dempsey 9. Wilder 10. W Klitschko ...or something like that, would be my guess.
Liston and Bruno .ram rod jabs real weapon. .Bruno particularly was a fighter with flaws but power wasn't one .Any fighter he could hit was in danger of being Knocked out
