Who's backtracking? The post, as it happens was meant Tongue in cheek although there was an element of truth to it. I didn't believe that to have been a genuine list of your favourite fighters. I apologise I misread the opening post and ignored the 'inspirational' side of things though. I didn't say you was showing off and nor did I mean that I just can't see a top ten list of yours not containing little Wicky, considering the amount of money and time you've spent supporting him and following him and the amount of time and effort you've spent defending him on here. That's my lot now, I'm off to bed now. If it continues tomorrow then so be it but I WASN'T having a go, it WAS meant a little Tongue in cheek and I still stand by what I say with regards to 'Favourite Fighters' however not necessarily 'inspirational' ones :good
Thank you. It wasn't a list of my favorite fighters, it was fighters that inspired me to take a real interest in boxing.
Bernard Hopkins Pernell Whitaker Roy Jones Jr Larry Holmes Kostya Tszyu Sugar Ray Leonard Terry Norris Vinny Pazienza Nigel Benn Michael Ayers Not in any particular order, but these are my favourite fighters I've enjoyed watching over the years. I'm a big fan of many of the older time fighters, but I enjoyed the careers of the above listed more so as they unfolded "live" before my eyes. The only exceptions are Holmes & Leonard, where the best part of their careers were pretty much before my time (my first fight was Benn V Chantler in 1987).
