    Renault was the number 4 ranked contender, as I posted earlier tonight!

    Godfrey beat Renault in 1925, lost to Gains in 1928.
    Context and an appreciation of the times is vital if accessing Johnny Risko, sure he lost a lot, he literally fought for a living, 15 times in 1926, 24 times in 1926, 8 times in 1928 (the malinger!) 11 times in '29 and in 1930 he fought 9 times. He defeated prime Uzcuden, Delaney, Sharkey, Godfrey, Von Porat, Schaaf, Maloney, Berlenbach, was robbed against McTigue and as for size he defeated 6-9 Campolo and 6-3 1/2 Scott. Make no mistake, when it mattered Risko was no journeyman.
