Mostly went for ones that I think could really tell us more about the fighters ability, and lots of heavyweights becuase I'm a total casual.

 

Tunney or Dempsey vs Schmeling would be fun fights for me.

But when do you envision this taking place? Would max be up for this in 27?

 

I more meant if Tunney had delayed his retirement a few years.

I agree Schmeling probably wouldn't have been good enough when Tunney was actually still fighting.

 

Roughly around the Satterfield fight, for Ezzard and maybe the Durrele fight for Patterson, tbh I think it's much better prime for prime but it still could've happened

 

well as Britain and the USA were 'basically' the two leading Boxing Nations until roughly the 50s/60s, I'll stick mostly with this pairing...
