Fun to watch from some of his fights but I dont think hes elite. Hes good in this era which is kind of top heavy but outside a few guys seems kind of weak or just in a transitional period
In today's current HW setting, he's pretty good and a solid "top 10 ranked opponent" win. Relative to other divisions right now and to other points in time at HW, he kinda sucks. I'll shower him with praise should he beat Parker, though.
This coming in heavy looking for the Ko is gonna bite him on the arse tomorrow night, parkers speed will make the difference
Why would you come in that heavy against a nimble, fit fighter like Parker? Very odd, even his arms look fat.
Solid fighter but crude and limited. Decent power but nothing exceptional. Doesn't mind a scrap. Basically all the ingredients of a fringe world level boxer...
Good fighter, good skills, throws combinations and not afraid of anyone. He feels that he can beat anyone and that makes him dangerous. Stood up to Joshua when opponents were getting beat down in a round or two. Has also probably gotten better since the Joshua fight but I don't know how serious he takes his conditioning.
Parker knows the fundamentals of boxing. How to turn an opponent. Proper head movement. Whyte doesn't do any of that stuff... he just throws wild punches that at times see him spinning himself around like a top. There's nothing refined about him and he fights in spurts, seemingly without the gas tank to effectively pressure over 12. Have to really think Whyte is going to get pasted tomorrow.
