your truthful opinion on dillian whyte?

Not many HW boxers look fresh after ten rounds and re his fight with Chisora the consensus at the time was that it was an amazing fight with a high output by both guys,only AJ v Wlad overshadowed that a few months later.

B level fighter.

Strengths: He's strong and has a big heart in the ring.

Weaknesses: Very crude (somewhat dirty) style, poor stamina and conditioning, slow footwork, average to below handspeed, very wild with his punches which leaves him off balance way too much (danger zone,) average to below average defensively.

I know he doesn't have an extensive background as a boxer so he's essentially learning on the fly. But I don't think he's made vast improvements since getting knocked out by Joshua. He went life and death with a British level fighter in Chisora and he knocked out a veritable punching bag in Lucas Browne. The parker fight was a very good win but it's hard to assess how good Joseph is since I thought he lost to Hughie Fury, clearly to Joshua and than came back a third time to England in a fight he probably shouldn't have taken.

B Level fighter, nothing more.

 

Seems he's gone 12 hard rounds more than a couple times and he'd won every single one. Seems he hurts you every time he beats the fighter you and co claim will crush him.

I'm just telling it like it is. He's not great but he's very good and a very tough out. There's a thin few that would/could/should beat him and that's in every single era, that's a good fighter that beats Most fighters.

He'd beat most of them with toughness, grit and relentless body shots, what's wrong with that. He's not a pretty fighter like usyk who's great and fighting at the elite level, but Whyte beats him every time head2 head.

He’s in entertaining fights. It’s just not high level stuff. The same goes for Chisora.

He barely finished last night and barely finished against Chisora. That’s enough to for me to conclude that he can barely do 12 rounds.

The concept of him beating Usyk is absurd, and I’m not even an Eastern Euro worshipper. I will make that quote of yours my sig if the fight ever comes off.

Like I said, his level is just above Arreola and just below peak Stiverne.

You know, overhype in the way that Parker himself was prior to fighting AJ after labouring to 3 very disappointing victories prior.

 

Dillian's does seems like a overachiever at best. I think the worrying thing for him, is he appears a little bit suspect in the chin department. And some potential stamina issues in the later rounds. When you got a guy like Parker who can't usually crack a egg, thrashing the life out of you just before for the final bell . Then it sets a bad image, for someone who's likely going to challenge for a title in their next fight. The bodybuilder Joshua, and the devastating bronze bomber don't play around when another fighters hurt. They don't start slowly like Joseph either. Whyte's going to have to really trim off the weight, and improve his jab. In my opinion. He's not quite ready to challenge those 2 yet.

 

Whyte turned out to be better than I ever thought. He's definitely oone of the better contenders out there and would really give Wilder some serious issues if they were to fight.

 

He's definitely improved since the Joshua fight but him going balls to the wall and arguably losing to Del Boy imo proves his level....and that's no slight on Chisora, he's solid but no world beater.

Whyte is a top 5 to 8? Fighter at the moment but imo it's more to the fact to the lack of depth as opposed to actual depth in the division.
