Whyte still sucks... nearly got koed in the last round. Parker got badly concussed with the headbutt plus ref gave Whyte a free pass to employ dirty tactics all night. Still think Parker could have won otherwise.

yea I was wrong . its pretty sad though when someone in the shape of whyte can be considered the 3rd best hw... the division has fallen so far lol. if aj can get past wilder I wouldn't be surprised if he stays champ until 2024 lol...

Still don't consider him a world class fighter at all but he showed he is gutsy, will give it all and has mental resilience. He showed some smarts in tying up at the end of the Parker fight too.

His technique is still pretty horrid and I don't think he beats the likes of AJ/Wilder/Pov/Ortiz but he's at the top of the mix below.

Him and Miller would be fun, as would a Breazeale fight.

    He's not much good.
Very lucky to get the win against Parker, very fortunate to be allowed to employ so many dirty tactics unpenalized, very lucky to get ahead on the score cards.
He's a tough hombre for sure, but he was lucky to win against Chisora too.

It's obvious from last weekend's fights that Whyte, Chisora, Takam and Parker are all on the same level.
Still I'd say the 26 year old Joseph Parker's the most hopeful prospect potentially of those four, and that hope has well and truly faded too.

Whyte would be iced by Wilder, let's be honest.

I actually doubt Whyte could ever beat old Pulev.

Don't let his flabby physique and sometimes sloppy boxing style distract you from the fact that this guy is a baller,
he doesn't look the part but he's a bad man, future top 5 heavyweight for sure, other than Joshua, Wilder, Fury,
Ortiz and maybe Povetkin nobody will beat him.

He has very good jab, durability, body punching, heart, toughness, confidence, dedication to the sport, an awkward style with unpredictability you can't prepare for and a monster left hook.

Yeah but of course mr boxing einstein... dillian whyte... the guy that is willing to fight anybody... fights bums...

he fights whoever accepts really, unless you are a pro boxer you'll never really know the struggle of making a fight.

Dillian Whyte has proved himself, and the haters wrong.

So Dillian Whyte typically gets a bit of hate here and there, and the haters usually call him lucky.

So he's won 8 fights back to back since the AJ fight, which not many boxers have done coming off a loss. Still lucky?

I'd like to see him fight Ortiz...I think he's decent but he's not great.

Right, so you think Dillian is very average? Where would you rate Dillian in top 5?

Do you think he becomes champion one day?

He might be top 5 right now. But you can see from his last performances he's reached his level.
No, he won't become a legit champion. Nor will Dereck Chisora. That's Whyte's level.
The current champions are Wilder and Joshua. Whyte would get KO'd brutally by either of them.

Yeah that left hook is a definite weapon. It KO'ed Browne had Parker down for the first time and wobbled Joshua. In hindsight Joshua did well not to go down from that left hook.

considering his lack of experience and late start to boxing, he is probably the most naturally gifted Heavy right now.

I can see from his last performance, he hasn't reached his level, and parker is very high up there on the ranking, he would beat most heavies no problem.

At least another 30 -35 per cent to see from Dillian, he is maturing with his descision making and boxing IQ, he is throwing punches harder, but still technique not 100 per cent. The shot that dropped Parker could have been 20 per cent stronger, as you see him throw a short left hook, he could have torqued more, and used legs more.

He may fight Joshua soon, and he is a different animal to 2015 dillian. He had a short camp for parker so couldnt get his weight down and yet STILL went 12 rounds, you try going 12 intense rounds at 260 and 6 ft 3.

    This Dillian can beat AJ

Well, you might get to see that fight because I think Matchroom will persuade AJ and SKY that Whyte is now a good opponent for the April date in 2019 at Wembley.
Unless Povetkin somehow beats AJ, I think the plan will be AJ-Whyte for April.

I'd rather see Whyte get a proper clear decisive and uncontroversial win over Parker or Chisora first, but clearly he's been raised above that level by the hype.
