ortiz - takes half the blame.

 

Truthfully, the fight was getting dirty, anyway. Ortiz was like a Billygoat in the 4th round, and was repeatedly, blatently headbutting Floyd.
After watching the 4th again, they hugged once and pounded gloves twice. It was time to fight again and Ortiz should have been ready. Ortiz was really stupid for holding his hands low after Cortez had called the action back into play.

 

Either Ortiz is a total idiot or he was confused because Cortez was still talking to the corner for the timer to resume time.

He was looking for a reaction on Cortez when Floyd thrown the first sucker punch. Idiot should have cover up right after that.

Look, you know as well as I do the ref stopped the action. There was no clear return to when it started back. Ortiz ****ed up, but Floyd took advantage of a YOUNG HUNGRY LION who was hella inexperienced. But you don't give a **** about that or how Floyd one at all. A win is a win right? You're supposed to keep your hands up during a fight and you can see mayweather wait a few seconds before he drops him anyway while Ortiz was trying to suck his dick. Ortiz kept pressing the issue (after he just headbutted the **** out of him) and mayweather dropped him I think it is pretty badass.

 

IDK why everyone on ESB keeps talking about what happened last night over and over again. It still doesn't change the fact that,

1. Ortiz was too green to fight Floyd who is arguably the most technically skilled boxer to ever put gloves on IMO. GOAT belongs to either Marciano or Ali but in terms of the most technically skilled boxer to dominate the game without a loss belongs to Floyd whether you like it or not.

2. Since Ortiz was too green to fight Floyd, it shows nothing about what would happen if Pacquiao and Floyd fought. Ortiz should of gotten more experience with a seasoned fighter perhaps a fight with Cotto and depending on Ortiz does, then he should have fought Floyd.

So, my point is: Ortiz would have gotten his face rearranged from Floyd's straight right for 12 rounds or he probably would have quit on the stool. Either way Floyd wins whether it was from a cheap shot, UD Win, or TKO.

To Pacquiao fans: Please do not say Pacquiao will destroy Floyd after last night's fight. It is an insult to Pacquiao to gauge how he would do against Floyd by looking at how Ortiz performed against Floyd. Are you F'ing serious?

you know at least with the penalty kick the goalie is aware of the offense and is in defense mode.. last night, ortiz wasn't and was cowering and too sorry.

Early on as it was happening live I was discussing the Jessie Vargas v Josesito Lopez . Vargas was being dominated until he hit Lopez low. he lost a point but put himself back in the fight.If it had been me or any fighter I had trained ,they would have low blowed Vargas straight back as soon as the ref said fight .
