I gravitate towards heavyweight boxing so ill list my opinions.
I think Riddick Bowe would KO Sonny Liston
Larry Holmes would UD Tyson Fury
Rocky Marciano is tailor made for Gerry Cooney
Evander Holyfield Beats Joe Louis
George Foreman destroys every heavyweight before the 70s besides maybe Sonny Liston


Ive also always thought top fighters from the 90s were better than top fighters from any other era before because heavyweights were larger, more powerful and more skilled than they were in the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s and they were larger than 70s fighters but not exactly more skilled

I agree with you that Cooney would have a good shot against Marciano. Provided Gerry gets his big shots off quickly.

LIston/Bowe - Have to think about that one.

Louis/Holyfield - I go with Joe.

Foreman - Maybe

 

Not exactly an upset but fury is being overrated in the world boxing forum for his win against one trick pony wilder.

 

I don’t see Liston as the underdog, I have the names reversed in my own upset.
