It was crap but Holyfield hardly came to fight, and just bounced around at a distance throwing nothing. A lot of fighters would have looked shite, let alone one that perhaps is.

Holyfield actually stated afterword that Valuev's size is a big problem, but he is also a skilled boxer with it.

his management needs to go ahead and cash him out against one of the Klitschko brothers. He is horrible.

We know that Palle 'petitioned' to have Kessler named the #1 contender with the WBA. I'm assuming the petition is on the back of a check? (Kessler was deserving, I'm just taking about the process here. No kill I!!!)

I have seen two of his fights. I think he needs to fight someone his own size. Wald.:yep Seriously, anything else is a farce for him right now.

Since Chagaev was out injured. ...and in case Chagaev couldn't defend against Valuev, the mandatory challenger.

The thing to remeber is Valuev's age. He's hardly a spring chicken and it's not as if Evander was facing a 28 year old in his prime type guy in there. Those are some old legs & they're starting to look like greek columns in the flexibility department.

You have to assume Valuev has already peaked as a fighter and is sliding down the ladder. Those legs couldn't catch Holyfield & once those legs go w/ the heavies, they don't come back.

He looks like a fighter ready to be taken & has for a little while. Except now the guy could get stopped and not just outpointed. I think a puncher right now would show just how old Valuev is & since he hardly has **** poor management, we won't be seeing any of those matchups soon.

He's got a good chin and decent boxing ability for his size. However, he doesn't really have a punch and can be painfully boring to watch. Someone with good movement and someone who can throw combinations will cause Valuev trouble. All in all, I can't say I'm a fan. The pursuit of the elusive 49 - 0 and the hype surrounding someone with immense size, Valuev doesn't really fit the bill - he seems to lack some substance and marketability. He needs a big fight against a Klitschko.

i am still amazed he is ducking kali meehan.

meehan would have been fit and ready but valuev wanted no part of him.

how are they going to get him into the ring against vitali or wlad?
    it may never happen.
