What are your thoughts on Golden Boy matching their burgeoning star Lightweights Michael Katsidis and Juan Diaz? Not only is there the possibility that these two will put significantly more miles on each other if this is any sort of war, the loser will certainly have his market value potentially diminished with a second consecutive loss. What business sense is there in putting these two in together, aside from the menial profits of one fight?

The best match ups among rated fighters at 135 is happening . . . so there's should be no complain about GBP making this fight.

If this trends continues . . . we will have a unified champ at 135 in 2009.

    I'm rooting for Diaz.

Not only are their highly ranked... but their styles make for an exciting night for US~!!

This seems like a fight that would have rematch written all over it...

Well, IMHO I have absolutely no idea why they're having these two collide from a business point of view. How much will Juan Diaz be worth after he gets beat by Michael Katsidis? How much will Michael Katsidis be worth after he gets beat by Juan Diaz? GBP is going to hurt their own investment.. One of them. Brand new investments at that. There isn't much boost on the upside either. Great fight for the fans, questionable fight for a promotional company. The purpose of the question is to examine GBP and their logistical business choices. They ain't no Top Rank from what I can tell, but I'm sure there's more to the story... There better be at least! :huh

Well like I said these are the best match ups at 135 happening . . . not in the business side of the sports but stature wise.

The winner gets another crack at the man on top of the list and the loser struggles to get back on contention. We have to give props to both camps for taking this fights without giving too much weight on the money issue,

I'm not worried about GBP. They still ****in owe me at least $45 dollars worth of action for De La Hoya-Mayweather as far as I'm concerned.
