    hmm says

    1. makes them lose confidence
    2. effs up their gameplan/ mental game
    3. makes the person fighter better (gets fired up)
    4. split decisions most of the time are won as a result from knockdowns
    5. dude maybe become too physically hurt to full perform the whole match
    6. the person who caused the knockdown can get overconfident and careless... which can result in a unexpected comeback.
