We all have holes in our areas of study of the game. Those "must see" things that somehow, some way, we've never gotten around to. Things you actually feel almost guilty for missing. What are yours? Mine? Ahem.........I..........I..........have never seen any of the Pacquiao-Marquez fights. There, I said it.
I’ve never been interested in Roy Jones or Marvin Hagler - they’re big names but I purposefully avoid watching southpaws and RJJ? I don’t get any enjoyment out of watching him at all. I have watched maybe two or three fights for both guys. This might be funny for some people but I’ve seen one Manny Pac fight start to finish.
I have never bought any Floyd or Canelo, PPv's Not because I'm a skinflint but because I do not pay in order to be cheated. I'd willingly pay for non super fights between two equally matched fighters in a 100% fair fight with no shennanikins & no corruption involved. The result being the better man on the day getting the decision he deserves. So many so called super fights are corrupt $$$$$$$$$$ rules. Ive been lucky ,being involved in the sport most of my working life to have not had to pay for my seat to some great fights over the years of which I am truly grateful
I've only watched Tatsuyoshi's entire career once because a lot of his fights have been taken off youtube. My walk of shame is that I didn't download the ones that got taken down. So I have a lot of Tatsuyoshi fights I probably won't be able to see again.
I don't think I've ever watched their third fight. You gotta eventually watch 1,2 and 4, they're fantastic.
Mate you're apt to make a lot of people feel self-conscious and inadequate with that one. Brief and thrilling as it was, i don't know that many can claim to have sat and watched all twenty-eight bouts once...let alone beating yourself up over never saving for posterity and viewing more. You're well ahead of the curve there, I'd think.
You're missing out on one of the greatest moments in boxing history when in the final round Morales changes his stance to... oh wait nvm I guess it's probably best you don't watch it then lol.
I’m ashamed to admit that I never really bothered watching most of Muhammad Ali’s fights in full outside of his most famous fights such as Liston 1-2, Williams, FOTC, Rumble, and Manila. I’ve seen glimpses of his other fights pre-exile, Norton, and Spinks but I just haven’t had enough interest to sit down and watch them in full. When Ali was dominant and in control I think he can be a chore to watch at times, with the exception of Cleveland Williams where he did look sensational.
Full career is sort of a lie. I haven't watched the fights after the Sahaprom fights for the same reasons I will never watch things like Holmes vs Ali, Louis vs Marciano, or Matthew Saad Muhammad's career post the Qawi fights. I've seen clips but I'll never watch a full fight of any of those.
Though I’ve been meaning to get around to it for years, I still haven’t watched one single Harry Greb fight. I know, embarrassing, right? One day…
Not even Greb vs. Dempsey?!?! I can understand if you haven't been able to hunt down the rare kinemacolor print, but not even the b+w?? Slacker!
More seriously, this was a glaring omission that I corrected some years back - I steered clear of Marciano fights only because I didn’t think I would enjoy his style so much. When I did get around to watching a number of his fights in full, without going OTT, I will say I was pleasantly surprised - and his indomitable will and work ethic in the ring were both jaw dropping in their own right. Also, more IVs with Rocky are proliferating the Internet - Marciano was no dummy and very much worth the listen.
