Your Welterweight (147) rankings after last night?

So where do you rank Guerrero? He basically did about as well as anybody else as done against Mayweather at 147- i.e. got schooled.

 

Depends on the manner of the victory of course but I'd say around 6th.

 

I don't rate Zaveck that high, Berto had issues with him but I've always considered him an average European such as Jackwicz (who has an SD loss and an MD win over Zaveck) who Brook totally dominated a year after.

Quitana was OK but I also think he was rated a bit too high to begin with because he beat the completly overrated Deandre Latimore in the fight prior.

 

OK then what of the rest of your top 10? Bet your gonna struggle now to rate 10 fighters above Guerrero.

 

Fair enough but I didn't think Ortiz was dominating by any stretch of the imagination at the time. I might have to rewatch but I think I had it even before Ortiz had his jaw broke.

 

I agree he was stopped too early but Brook was completely outclassing him and he had no chance of winning by the looks of things.

He also beat Magic Matthew Hatton as comfortably as Canelo did (if not more so), and I think people sleep on how good Carson Jones was, he has a bit of a journey man record but I think he much better now than he was early on in his career (much like guys like Carlos Molina and Odlanier Salido).

 

By the sounds of things Khan may well be Mayweather's next opponent.

I do think Khan will do better than most people expect but he will still lose and probably not see the final bell.

 

I'm see Marquez-Bradley as a 50-50 fight myself, because while a lot of people who post on this website try to disagree, Marquez simply did not completely walk through Pacquiao in December. Marquez went through hell for 6 rounds and could've easily have ended up on the canvas himself with the gameplan he had (and unlike the Pacquiao hating posters on here Marquez knows this too), and I'll be intrested to see how much the fight took out of Marquez- my guess is a lot more than people think.
