.....like all great leaders I don't expect my men to do anything I'm not prepared to do myself so I'll start the ball rolling with a few points. :) :)

    1. Offence- I would introduce him to exotic, previously unheard of things called "straight punches" the jab and the straight right.

    2. Offence/defence:I would introduce him to exotic, previously unused body parts called "feet", and teach him how to use em!

    3. Defence: I would remind him that a high tight guard combined with head movement is not actually illegal in boxing and can actually be beneficial!

There's plenty more but I'll leave that to the resta youse geniuses.....

When Manny Steward trained Wlad Klitschko he started from the ground and worked his way up. Manny had Wlad doing footwork only drills in his first sessions with him. Back to the basics.

Wlad wasn't too proud to go back to the basics and neither should Eubank Jnr.

Sadly Manny ain't around to retool Eubank Jr. He did an amazing job with Wlad and Lewis.

Set up camp out the way of everybody on some Island somewhere
Ban social media and this will be the managers job before any training !!

Work on the footwork as said Work on the gaurd but Eubank has good movement while in defense and somebody should exploit this skill (good defensive moment)

    With a stiff drink.

I like Senior's particular brand of gentlemanly lunacy, and find his persona very entertaining in the brief glimpses we see of it in interviews etc etc. But I can only imagine how irksome the pair of them could get when you have to deal with it 9 to 5, behind closed doors, 7 days a week. Training one's self for this long indicates a stubborn pride that even the sternest of trainers would struggle with.

"Kill your darlings, Christopher. You are on uppercut probation, starting now you are not allowed to attempt so much as one for a month straight (a single infraction - be it during a spar or even shadowboxing! - will earn you a 5mi run and 100 tire flips). We're going to detox you cold-turkey..."

How to set up his punches and head movement.
Also he needs a more active guard and to learn how to cut off the ring.

    Basically back to zero...

But wlad had Russian discipline and was a receptive pupil. I'm not sure cej would be open to this approach ....that said it should happen. He needs to learn the basics from scratch.

I'm not a hater, I actually like the Eubanks and think they are good for boxing in Britain. Even the "too cool for school" crowd can't help talking about them. Which is an achievement really when you consider how little Jr has achieved. I mean he has done alright, held the British title, fought for a world title, which is nothing to be sniffed at, but it doesn't warrant the amount of attention he gets.

However... I don't think we are going to get anywhere with Chris until we deprogramme him, and lock his father out of sparring sessions. So I'd sit him down on the couch, try and get him to open up, act caring but keep taking subtle jabs at him (figuratively speaking), we need to remove that ego, self-esteem & defence mechanisms. He'll eventually break down, I imagine the floodgates will open up when we get onto his father.

Only then can we start building him back up again, Cus D'Amato style on Tyson. He'll be calling me 'daddy' by tea time, it will be at this point I'll know he's ready to get to work...
