The last round of the first Castillo vs Corrales fight and the last round of the 3rd Vasquez vs Marquez fight.
As well as those already mentioned, I loved round 12 of Trinidad-Vargas. A great fight and Tito came out and closed the show, to quote Larry Merchant, "like the champion he is". Vargas also gets huge credit for his heart. Making it out of round one was impressive enough but how he got up from the first knock-down in the last round, I'll never know.
Probably the only exciting thing that happened that entire fight. Mosley sure loves himself some man-hugging doesn't he? :dead ZzzzzzzZZzzz
That was one of the first ones I though of. No KO; no down-and-ups; just one champion determined to take the last round and a challenger saying "Don't you even think about it". Epic stuff; although how great a round it is can only really be appreciated by watching the whole fight.
This no knockdown final round tops that one easily. [yt]IupyEYB-27c[/yt] Now that's how you leave it all in the ring.
It's a great round, but they were both exhausted, so half of why it's so good is because they can't do anything except stand there and slug it out. Mosley-De La Hoya makes up in speed what it lacks in brutality. EPO will do that for you, I'm told ...
Is that Chevy Chase, Sylvester Stallone, and Roberto Duran standing in the front? Seeing them all into the fight is cool.
Oscar vs Mosley 1 and Quartey. Morales vs Pacquaio 1. Barrera vs Morales 1 and 3 had great closing rounds.
