You're kidding yourself if you think Broner could steamroll Ricky Burns.

He's struggled for years at SFW.I love how all the armchair crowdpleasers would risk going in with the best prospect at the weight in years even if they had to boil down too far and risk going in in a bad way.
    Just too easy eh?:think
I remember getting 5/1 on Ricky beating Martinez.I think Broner wins but I'd bite the hand off the same price for Ricky again.

he could've switched against De Leon. I know that he was young but maybe he has a couple of gears more or maybe he doesn't

pacquiao is aonce in a lifetime guy. SRL didnt lose to ham and eggers in his prime or when he was coming up. Broner would beat Burns pretty easily.

its cool bro, i was sort of trollin' in this thread. but anyway, Burns is a good fighter and i was actually pretty impressed by his performance yesterday. i would favor Broner if they were to fight, but any thing can happen. Burns is tough and has a high work rate. it wouldnt be an easy fight for either of them

Burns is good and I agree it wouldn't be an easy fight for Broner but hyping up a win over a past it Katsidis like you do isn't giving your cause any credit. Katsidis is a punching bag for sharp punchers, Broner would ice him fosho.

As for Burns vs Broner I see Burns taking a couple rounds.....8-4/ 9-3 type win for Broner. Burns is a good fighter, my fave from the UK right now and he's got a solid skillset but he lacks pop and if he doesn't earn broner's respect he risks getting bombed out despite having a good chin. I agree that Burns is no walk in the park for anyone at LW besides JMM. I'd pick Rios, Guerrero, Broner and Gamboa over Burns but I feel Burns might be able to beat some good fighters like Vazquez and Demarco.

Burns is one of those fighters who I imagine to be much better in the ring than they look while watching them from the outside.

He's a very good, simple but effective boxer with under-rated power and a good chin. The guy stood up to Roman Martinez and looked like stopping him down the stretch, he handled Katsidis with ease and Moses too.

As for Broner, I haven't seen enough of him, but its far too early, he's ridiculously hyped up from my point of view. It will be interesting to see him this weekend, I stuck my vcash on Escobedo.
