Floyd's pull counter is gonna be disgusting in the fight. 67 inch reach for Cotto lol. Oh god.

That sh!t won't land either buddy, Floyd will deflect that sh!t with his elbows or just pivot his body...Buddy, Floyd has NEVER been hit in the liver either.

Cotto has no advantage, I agree. Trying to pick things Cotto could do was damn hard.

I actually think Floyd is stronger too, he's much bigger now than he would of been in 2008.

yeah but he usually does it against people who aren't used to fighting on the backfoot. When floyd pressures that's when his defense is the worst. Cotto actually did really well using that strat against Margarito, I was really surprised how he was able to come out of nowhere with huge combinations going to the body and the head.

lots of pressure...double the jab a lot but mix it up with with single jabs and left hooks as leads to not be predictable..then throw combos each time....he might not hit the target as much but he'd prevent floyd to counter at the same time beat him on activity....

Cotto is the classic boxer puncher in that he's versatile and can do both, but he's not great at either one. He should use his boxing skills to move around but also try and force it and get on the inside. He wont win if he just go in there and try to move the entire fight. And if he goes in there and try to over power floyd and knock him out he will get frustrated and beaten by decision.

He needs to start strong so he can impress the fans and get the judges on his side. Afterwards he should move around and pick his spots. He cant afford to wait for the fight to come to him and to waste rounds. If he starts slow floyd will have a lead and once he gets one he'll get on his bike. Starting strong is the key for cotto if he's going to have a chance.
