Glad you liked it. :good I always thought DLH should have followed a similar plan to try and prevent Floyd from getting comfortable, and tried to incorporate switching stances into his strategies as a fighter in general more frequently as well.

-Time that hook with Floyd's jab to the body.
-Faint to disrupt the pull counter, or just to mess up Floyd's timing.
-If ever the time comes when Floyd decides to trade, go for it. (Floyd is at his worst imo when he is in exchanges).
-Force Floyd onto the ropes and hit his bread and butter left hook to the body, as much as possible and as early as possible.
-Learn to cut off the ring effectively.
    -Stamina stamina stamina.

Do you guys think Floyd is going to throw his jabs more against Cotto as he did when he fought JMM?

Cotto's biggest problem will be his lack of a good jab

Rarely, we're all aware of Cotto's stamina issues and I see Floyd jabbing to the body. (FMJ's most under-rated punch) you do want to jab with the jabber but Floyd is never garunteed to follow convention.

If Cotto is the aggressor then no, I expect Floyd to rely on quick sharp counters which he throws harder and harder as the fight goes on.

If Floyd puts the high guard up and advances on Cotto then yes, I expect him to jab as a range finder (like he did with Ortiz) but not use it as an actual offensive tool.

HawkFan makes a good point....which brings me to this question.

Has Floyd faced a fighter who could effectively switch stances or even try to switch stances?

He has a good jab. The question is, how consistent is he going to be at landing it on Floyd for 12 rounds? Cotto has outjabbed almost all of his past opponents [Margarito, Mayorga, Foreman, Pacquiao, Clottey, ect]. His only inconsistency is that most of his opponents has outlanded him in power punches landed, Mosley, Clottey, and Manny has outlanded Cotto in power punches. Cotto is going to face arguably the best defensive wizard in Boxing today, and the most overall accurate puncher as, Floyd Mayweather.

Not really. DLH made a big mistake when he stopped jabbing.

Jab, walk forward, jab some more, hit him in the hips and elbows.

    Yes

He'll use more flicker jabs and sticks to the body than the more typical head jab that was used frequently on Marquez and Mosley

because mosley caught floyd by sticking out his left jab to the body first and the straight right, right behind it
