I honestly liked the old Cotto in a fight with Floyd, Floyd seems to have trouble with the awkward fighters like Chavez and Castillo

Simple, fight a 6 round fight. Burn it all up in 6 rounds, fight dirty, throw 2x more then usual, if Floyd holds when you are inside headbut him, low blow him, elbow him......just make it a bloody 100mph mess of a fight. Or he can box and lose every round.

To beat Floyd you need to be as fast as him so that your throwing punches can find the target. Then you can start to slow him down by working at the body mainly. However, I have never seen any opponent of his who's as fast as him before. NEVER! Cotto is too slow to catch Floyd.

Your overrate floyd too much . Cotto's not a chump . He's a skilled fighter with a lot of experience. Floyd's not gonna have an easy time with him.

You dont have to be as fast as him. Castillo wasnt half as quick. Timing is more important, and Cotto isn't slow anyway. He's younger than Floyd and Floyd has slowed down quite a bit himself.

This is a very winnable fight for Cotto but he needs to have the killer instinct and not lay back too much like he has been lately. Can't fight a patient fight with Floyd.

I don't overrate anything. I just understand boxing. You overrate Cotto, which was obvious after your reaction of him beating up a past it, inactive, eye-damaged fighter who lost 2 of his last 3 fights. Cotto is not an elite fighter at this stage of his career, especially at 154. Yeah, Floyd's not a 154 pound fighter either, but that won't be too relevant either way.

Just don't back away from the spirit of this post when Mayweather handles Cotto. Deal?

He will, and you're perfectly setting up your excuse post-fight I see. I'll bump this post when you it happens. Cotto lost his killer instinct awhile ago. It's part of the reason why he basically has no chances, and nothings going to bring it back when he's having trouble understanding why sneak right leads, jabs, and counters are touching him when he can't seem to see or avoid them, nor find the target to begin with.

Cotto ain't winning this. I re-watch the Margo fight. He is to slow at 154. I see a fight very similar to the Baldo fight.

cotto even started to show signs of the first margo fight. had the fight been continued, or if margo's eye had not been busted up like that, cotto could have been seeing his 2nd loss to margo.

Pin Floyd on the corner and take his body.
